"I read in Women Looking Ahead magazine about you being honored, with the 2008 Blue Print Award. This achievement is certainly commendable." --- Commissioner Robert Pitts, Board of Commissioners of Fulton County

Toni Daya-Luetgers of TDL Productions and Galing Foundation, Inc. paid a courtesy call to the office of Board of Commissioner Fulton County in downtown Atlanta.

Luetgers was joined by Arjho Turner, GFI Director for Mindanao to share with the Commissioner the efforts of the Foundation in its advocacy on education, benefiting needy Filipino children and its involvement in the local community in Atlanta.

The Commissioner pledged its support to GFI and to the local Filipino Community.

He briefly mentioned that he is very impressed with Filipinos all over the world for its artistic talents. He was also proud to say that his dentist is a Filipino.

Congratulation Toni! It's developing relationship with local community leaders that you will gain support for your cause. It's a slow and gradual process but that's what it takes other than throwing lavish parties and gifts like some lobbists do which we can't. Continue to with the good work - we will cheer you on.
